Ohhhh How I love these Swirlydoos kits!!!!!
They are so JAM PACKED and filled with the latest and coolest items.
This month DT member Kim challenged the DT to use the same picture, and create a layout.
She made it into a contest for our members to guess which designer made which page.
It was so much fun!
I felt very honored to work with the picture, which came from one of our members, Peggy.
and so here's my entry
This picture is just sooooo Beautiful! And I really wanted it to pop from the page.
In a previous Swirlydoos kit, came this lovely craft envelope and I thought it was the perfect touch to use on this page.
Also, those gorgeous thread flowers, were a gift from Ingrid. She handmade these Beauties.
Thank you so much Ingrid!!!!
In the November "Beloved" kit came these gorgeous Ingvild Bolme's closures, don't you just love it?!
And I have some cards to share. First is a blanco card
I Always love to use up the scraps from creating layouts. They are perfect for a quick card.
I die-cut the flowers from fabric and sprayed them with the Lindy's Stampgang mist that came in the November Medium AddOn.
This card has some layers!!!!!! lol
I was working on a layout but it didn't quit go where I wanted it to go, so I put the page a side and later I decieded to cut it up in 4 squares and create cards from it. I die-cutted the doily and gave it a washed look by rubbing Distress Stain, in Picket Fence over it. The lovely chipboard BlueFern Studio's flourish came in the MainKit. I colored the stemps with one of the sprays that came in the Medium AddOn and added Kaisercraft paint to the lavender tops.
I gave it a pretty thick layer and hold my heatgun close to it, to create a bubbly effect. Then I added some Stickles (Magenta) over it.
This card was made for Swirlydoos, Card Round Robin Challenge.
I had the honor to follow Jennie, and gosh... I loved her card so much that I didn't wanted to change anything. I just added some extra sparkles, and of course my own embellies.
I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die to create my flower. The leaves were crackle painted first. Then I rubbed on some Inka Gold over them and then Rock Candy stickles, and for extra sparkle I sprinkled some Ultra Fine glitter over them.
Thank you Jennie, for the inspiration you provided.
These are all Design Team projects I created for Swirlydoos Scrapbook Kit Club.
